What is the Project?
Where will we stay?
When we arrive in Haiti, we will stay at the Methodist Guest House in Port-au-Prince.
How will we travel?
We will travel by air from Houston Intercontinental Airport to Miami and then to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
What is the cost of the trip?
Will there be opportunities to fundraise to cover my trip cost?
Yes! We are currently working on several opportunities to fundraise funds to help cover the cost of your trip.
Do I need a passport?
Yes! All participants must have an active passport that will NOT expire 6 months from the end of the trip. If you do not have a passport, you must get one NOW! You can apply for a passport at the Lufkin Post Office. Current cost is $145 for a passport book and will take approximately six weeks to process. You can pay extra to expedite it if you wish. Please visit travel.state.gov for a full list of fees, forms, and necessary documents to apply.
Will there be team meetings?
Yes! We will have several meetings before our trip to provide more details and talk about the dynamics of serving God through a mission trip.
